Young Stars To Shine For Team Loaded At Suwanee TOC

One of the most exciting aspects of travel basketball each summer is the emergence of new talent on the national scene. Team Loaded out of Virginia has several established stars, but the new club also has several athletes who are just starting to make a name for themselves.

“We have a younger group that is very talented, and I think this is going to be a breakout year for a number of those kids in our program,” said Coach Mike Davis.

Those youngsters will be getting plenty of exposure at the upcoming Suwanee Tournament of Champions, which will be played on July 5-8. The All Star Girls Report run event will be held at the tremendous Suwanee Sports Academy, which is located just outside of Atlanta.

The long list of talented athletes for Team Loaded includes Nicole Davis (6-4, PF, 2020, rated at No. 131 nationally in her class by the All Star Girls Report), Bailey Williams (5-7, PG, 2020), Angel Burgos (5-6, PG, 2019) and Rejon Hawkins (5-9, WF, 2019).

“Nicole is a very skilled stretch four,” Davis said. “She is thin, but she has a very good shot and she handles the ball very well. Nicole is still growing, so she could reach 6-6. Bailey is a great athlete who is lightning fast. She is a great all-around point guard who can get to the rim, shoot with range, and play tremendous defense.

“Angel is another great point guard. She has a tremendous handle, and she is an athlete who can finish with either hand. Angel has a great mid-range game, and she is working hard on her three-point shot. Rejon is already a tremendous three-point shooter. She also has a solid mid-range game and she can attack the basket. Rejon is an excellent defender as well.”
