Young Peak Performance Stars To Shine At Summer Basketball Playoff

The Peak Performance program in Georgia has developed a strong reputation on the national travel circuit, and it certainly appears their impressive image is going to continue to sparkle in the coming years.

“We have six very good Class of 2019 players on our 15U team, and I think four of them are going to be BCS prospects,” said Coach Bruce Price. “We also feel very good about the talent we have in the 2020 and 2021 classes. It’s all very exciting. I think we’re showing people that Peak Performance will continually bring top talent.

“We’re also proud that most of these kids are home grown. They have been playing with Peak Performance since the fourth or fifth grade. Our program is really focused on trying to building talented players from within our program.”

That young talent will be showcased at the 2015 ASGR Summer Basketball Playoff on July 27-30 in Charlotte, NC. The event, which will feature many of America’s top club programs, will be held at the Carolina Courts facility.

The most notable young star for Peak Performance is Amari Robinson, a versatile 6-1 athlete who is currently rated as the No. 2 prospect nationally in the Class of 2019 by the All Star Girls Report. Price is also high on Kaylee Sticker, a 5-9 wing from the Class of 2019.

“Amari is a terrific athlete who could play all five positions,” Price said. “She really has all the tools — passing, rebounding, shooting, run, jumps …. She is just a very special kid.

“Kaylee is a great, great shooter.  She is the Larry Bird of our program. People see her, and they don’t think she looks like a great athlete, but then she gets on the floor, and people go ‘Wow.’”
