FBC Georgia Defending Home Turf At Suwanee TOC

After enjoying a fast start on the road in spring, the FBC Georgia club will return to its own backyard in early July when the program competes in the Suwanee Tournament of Champions. The event, which will showcase top flight teams from around the country, will be played at the expansive Suwanee Sports Academy outside of Atlanta from July 5-8.

FBC Georgia’s top team will be paced by a pair of tremendous athletes from the Class of 2017. Bianca Jackson is a 5-10 two-three player, and Tatyana Wyatt is a 6-1 stretch four. Jackson is a versatile offensive performer who can attack the rim, play the mid-range game, or shoot the three. Wyatt can post up inside, but she is more comfortable out on the perimeter. The All Star Girls Report currently has Jackson rated as the No. 42 recruit in her class nationally, while Wyatt is at No. 157.

“We have played well so far this year and a lot of kids have played well, but those two players have been our leaders,” said Coach Mo Motton. “They have been getting a lot of attention from the college coaches.

“Bianca is an all-around player who can score the basketball from all different levels. She can shoot the long ball, and she can drive it to the basket. She is a great athlete who knows how to play the game, including on the defensive end.

“Tatyana is another special athlete. She is a real Stretch Four, because she can compete inside with her length and her leaping ability, but she also has the ability to play on the outside. She rebounds for us, runs the floor, and shoots the long ball. She also has the ability to defend multiple positions because of her length and athleticism.”
