ASGR Elite 24 Rosters Set For 2016

The All Star Girls Report has released the star-studded rosters for the ASGR Elite 24 Game. The NCAA certified event, which will feature the top prep players in the country, will be played on July 28 at the Carolina Courts facility in Indian Trail, NC, just outside of Charlotte. The game is set to tip off at 9:00 p.m.

“There is tremendous talent up and down both rosters,” said ASGR analyst Bret McCormick. “I really like that there is a great mix of players from different classes. It’s fun to watch the older elite players going against the younger elite players.

“Looking at the rosters, I think the East team is going to be perimeter oriented, and the West should be led by their post players. The players I’m most anxious to see for the East are Jordan Nixon, who’s stock has gone through the roof this summer, and Sam Brunelle, who is being recruited by everyone. For the West, they might have the three best post players in the country with Danielle Patterson, Ladaziah Williams and Kasi Kushituah.”

The ASGR Elite 24 will mark the six All-American game for the All Star Girls Report. ASGR founder Michael T. White was a pioneer for girls All-American games, beginning with the L’adidas Roundball Game in 2000 and 2003. White also organized the EA SPORTS/Adidas Superstar Games in 2004 and FILA All-American Game in 2011. The ASGR Elite 24 event premiered last year.

Here is a look at the rosters for the 2016 ASGR Elite 24 Game. The national rankings for each athlete are supplied by the All Star Girls Report.
