Now in its 18th year, the All Star Girls Report is the leader in women’s basketball scouting. ASGR’s rankings are compiled by veteran analyst Bret McCormick. ASGR members can log in and view the complete updated rankings at www.ASGR.info.

  1. Connecticut: Gabby Williams, No. 2, 5’11 PG; Sadie Edwards, No. 6, 5’10 SG; Courtney Ekmark, No. 8, 6’0 SG.

McCormick on the Huskies: “Gabby Williams is one of the best players I’ve ever seen. She’s like Maya Moore in that she could play just about any position. She does it all on the court, and she has Olympic potential in the high jump. Sadie is a combo guard who is a great athlete. She’s tremendous off the bounce with a nice floater in the lane. She is a big time scorer, but she will involve her teammates. Courtney is a high IQ player. She is a great shooter with deep range, and she is a gym rat who has a unique understanding of the game. Courtney Ekmark will make her mark at Connecticut.”

  2. UCLA: Recee’ Caldwell, No. 7, 5-7, CG; Jordin Canada, No. 9, 5-7, PG; LaJahna Drummer, No. 10, 6-3, PF; Monique Billings, No. 17, 6-3, C; Kelli Hayes, No. 43, 6-1, SG.
