Samuelson Leads List Of Top California Girls

A pair of talented wing players with great size lead the list of the top 2015 prospects from the state of California. Katie Samuelson, the nation’s top-rated recruit, is headed across the country to UConn, while  Kennedy Burke will be staying on the West Coast to attend UCLA.

The recruiting battles for the top prospects in the Class of 2015 are heating up, and the All Star Girls Report is following all the action. In the coming weeks, ASGR will break down the top recruits in the class by region. Today, we look at the ASGR Los Angeles Region, which includes the entire state of California. Subscribers can log on to the database at subscriber login at top of page.

The complete  All Star Girls Report database has over 600 players (2015-2019) class from the Los Angeles region. Ratings and player notes are included from veteran analyst Bret McCormick, providing programs from high majors to mid-majors with invaluable information.

Here are the Top 50 prospects for 2015 from the Los Angeles region. The Super Six players from the area include a comment for ASGR analyst Bret McCormick.

Katie Samuelson, 6-3, WF: “She is the third sister in the family (the other two played at Stanford), and she is the most versatile. She has expanded her range beyond the arc, and she is also a great rebounded and inside player.”

Kennedy Burke, 6-1, WF: “Kennedy is athletic and explosive, and she has the skills to play any of the perimeter positions. Her game really went through the roof over the past year.”

Aisia Robertson, 5-9, SG: “Robertson is an ultra quick, explosive guard who can really attack the basket. She handles it well, passes it well, and she actually shoots a true jump shot.”

MaAne Mosely, 6-0, WF: “Mosely is an athletic lefty with a high motor. She can score inside and then step out to the arc, and she handles it well enough to go coast to coast.”

Asha Thomas, 5-5, PG: “Thomas is another quick, solid point guard. She can orchestrate a team for you, and she can knock down the three.”

Yassemeen Sadullah, 5-7, PG: “Sadullah is more of a combo guard because she score or distribute. She is very quick with a wiry frame. She handles it well and she has a nice step back jumper.”
